One of the unpredictable trip of my life. Trip to haridwar. Just as I had been to delhi to meet my friend he told me about the trip and I immediately decided upon going to haridwar and taking a holy dip. The day was too hectic but even then i managed to land at the bust station on time. Catching bus was no big deal but getting a place to sit was one. Bus stopped several miles away from the temple. We had a group of 7 guys and all filled with zeal to take a dip in holy ganga. We had to walk almost 8 miles to reach the temple. It was damn crowded. Reason is kumbh mela takes place once in 12 years and it was the last day of the mela. I happened to encounter versatile people. Some were half naked and some were fully. They are highly previliged supposedly because they have dedicated their lives for the sake of god.We reached the dip point before it was supposed to be shut for those previliged people. As per the rule no body is supposed to take bath when these set of people are taking bath ( aghori’s and etc). got to spend enough time in water but it was very fun filled. Water was damn chilled and fast flowing. If u are not cautious then it might take u along for complete dip. Day was so tiring that our plan of visiting some more temples nearby was cancelled. We decided to get back to delhi and headed towards the busstation. The reaching there was huge mess. Bus stand was shifted to the outskirts of the city . commuting was major problem because of the damn crowd ( I was one of them). We again walked 8 miles to reach the place. Traffic management was one of the worst . it took 2 hours to just move out of the bus stand. And the driver was so lazily driving the vehicle that our 6 hour journey was extened to 12 hours. Almost double. Some of the things which I liked was free distrubution of water along road side for people walking a long way. Heat took away most of our energy but we had to live with it and not get hydrated so constantly kept drinking juices and energy boosters. According to some weird sources it seems that all your sins are washed away once u take a dip in ganga . I just had one hurray. I have washed away all my sins and now ready to some set of fresh sins. Hehe
One and a ll to say I had one of the most tiring yet unbelievable trip of my life

a month in gurgaon
2 states (survivor man)
I started writing this when I started listening to song “Lets get it started on” by black eyed peas
This is not about two people from diferent states who fall in love but its all about 2 states I was associated in the span of 7 months. I didn’t want to compare two states but some how situation is so provocative that I am going to compare and try coming out with hilarious conclusions which would just make m e laugh.
I had got placed In Tvs motor hosur ( Tamil Nadu) and it was totally different experience to be with group of people who speak non decipherrable language. I had to go through kind of mixed situation where I didn’t have an idea of, if I learn a new language am I promoting it or just using it for my convenience . I couldn’t give a second thought to it then learning atleast some basic words. I had group of 3 proud tamilians who taught me a lot out of which a lot included slangs .( that’s how a new language is learnt trust me)
Its so accommodating to know the native language, that people from native will immediately back u for no matter what comes ur way . So I learnt it but my conscious was saying, what if I don’t know ur language I am an Indian . later I relaised this wont work (poignant).Priority was always given to people who knew language. In this aspect shiv sensa people are surely doing some meaningless but so called good work by helping people to get job who knew their langauage .As u all know these people chased away people of different states who had come hoping to getjob in railway dept ( marashtra). I feel pathetic. ( hopefully shiv senas are not listening to me ) . If u want some work done in any state then u better learn their native language. I seriously didn’t like it . Well there is also a darker side to this situation.( darker side mentioned in later part).
Let me not bore u with what kind of work I did in tvs but I did do some serious stupid work which I didn’t like doing but so called luck favored me to get another job in Gurgaon ( haryana) EIL.Here I got introduced to people who use slangs so casually that it turned like m listening to eminem’s rap. Didn’t matter much to me because I too knew couple of good hindi slangs . All thanks to my North Indian friends.
The point I want to make through this article is that kind of problem people face when they don’t know the native language. Luciky I went through this only once( that’s in tamilnadu). But here I am stressing upon people who come here from tamilnadu face more problems because they don’t know the language and the inhabitants bluff them very easily .I pity them. Actually people from tamil nadu are deprived of languages other then tamil. How ridiculous?
I have learnt to survive now no matter which state I leave in . I have got an amazing chance to know people other then so called kannadigas. Hehe ( selfish side of me) . but I was just thinking of how can I be helpful .
Do we need some common language to be taught to people of India which would make any Indian to settle down In any part of the country ? why do people lag in sense of belongingness ? we all are Indians. why cant we accept things, culture, attitude and learn to be with people of different kind. I just wonder how Indian militray people co-ordinate (no language barrier) with so many people who serve the nation no matter which part of India is in problem. ( analogy matches partially with situation but thought of puttin it forward because i respect them for numerous reasons).
I came across two kind of people one who will never speak language other then its native one and another one is all set to abuse u first and then start with serious conversation. Funny is’nt it .
Some local people behavior has really put into shivers. Hilarious conclusion was, people from north say these idli sambar people from south (rice eaters) don’t know hindi and are introverts always form groups which includes only people of their kind ( to some extent true) and when u go to south people say u cant trust north indian people they keep bluffing, keep abusing, and speak rude always. I don’t agree with any of these. Because I have plenty of friends from both part of India. I feel its worth to mention here about few of them. First of all raman . he is from Andhra pradesh ( second largest rice producer in India and aslo will one day become second largest rice eater hehe ) helps every one no matter whosoever ( need not be a south indian at all). Other people are neelesh , rohit and alok , as far as I know have never bluffed me or never spoke rudely.
Some times I feel really happy for not having much of kannada friends because otherwise I would have been another jerk who would never try to understand how people from other states feel when they land in other part of countrty.
Lot of ironical situations have come up which I couldn’t really justiy .
I was just imaging how it would be when I knew only kannada , alok knew only hindi raman our andra master and soma only bengali. Oh my gawd. Do u all think we still would have been friends or would have tried joining some association which had group of similar jerks bitching about other language.! Point to be thought.
I don’t understand why every other thing I rite ends up in an emotional note. I just want to be of some use to India because this has given me a lot right from education to job ( ya I am sarkari Man).
Friends sometimes I don’t understand why everything I write ends up In realting u all to the situation. Please help this guy.hehe.

Just a thought
This thought came to mind that why india is lagging in some of emerging fields. ( mainly r & d point of view).I dont want to compare this to anyone else but the situation is so provocative that we have to set some standards to reach goal and to do that we have to set a bench mark . Considering the alarming effects of energy conservation I am forced to compare some fast developing countries to ours. According to UNfCCC annex 1 ( fully develpoed) countries have to cut down their emisision and also help the under developed countries to cut down the emission. But U S is not ready to do any of these. They just want underdeveloped countries to do it on their own. Result of UNFCCC meeting is nothing. It was like a hard slap on face for underdeveloped. These countries are really smart .They are utilising their resources and infact working really hard to come up with an alternate means of energy. But we are still lagging . I mean we are not exactly anticipating the future and are carrying on with our routine ways. This is not because we not don’t have cash or brains or human power ,but this is mainly because of indolence towards work.
I am writing this blog keeping in mind that government is no taking active measure to overcome the situation of energy crisis. But to do this we have to be actively involved in work . We have to put more efforts infact consistent efforts. To look upon we can come up with fuel cell technolgy to save energy. This can help us to overcome emission( because water is by product) and also have control over petrol, deisel consumption. Another interesting thing is ,as per the fact ,the point where river meets sea, enornomous energy( reverse osmosis) is released which can be of great use to create power. This alone is main source of power in one of the african country.
Where are we ? what are we doing?oh ho having tea is it!. Lets not distrub them this can be talked about a bit later. Why am I concerned about it all of sudden? Reason is U S, Uk cannada are already working on this . so when the D( doomed)day comes we have to beg for technology from these countries and since they have monopoly over these technologies and we have to pay hefty to get the same .
I am working for EIL ( govt firm). Joined on 18 th march. But I am still sitting idle doing nothing. Things here work at the real slow pace. Day starts with tea instead of meetings and ends with snacks and pakodas, instead of doing substantial work. I mean we need to do some quality work and do some justice to salary u getting at the end of the month . I find people here playing chess, and discussing about sania mirza’s marriage as if they are the important guests to the marriage. Infact these discussions go on in the library for hours and the person who wants to utilize library for rigth purpose is irritated. People here come to do house hold work not to serve the company( indirectly country). some Real interesting conversation I over heard was “ sabji mera washing machine kam nahi kar raha hai.. abhi abhi office aaya hun (10 o clock), please thik akr dena . arey bhillo mere cell phone recharge nahi hua … arey yaar mera cooler accha nahi hai…and here is one tamilian … mai tho kal mast sotha aur idli katha …. Tu kya katha…. Jaldi jaldi nasta kartha aur sham ko driving siktha..”
People here are group of un enthusiastic jerks who want to spend their day doing nothing other then procrastinating things. Accounts office sucks. Induction pprogram which includes filling up all forms sucked to core. Not because I had to write my address n times but to do it in such a slow manner that I myself was bugged with that person who was talking irrelevant stuffs and keeping me engaged in his talks. If I compare it with my previous company where I worked it was far better. I feel its because it was not govt owned company. Now I have realised why people die for govt jobs. Not that we are serving the govt but for pension and usless job security .(which they are entitled to even if they don’t do any job, I feel they should be told the actual meaning of job. I say blow them off).
I was discussing about this to one of my friend. And respones I got was like don’t take panga with govt people . they will undermine ur promotion as well as poltically screw u up. Oh my gawd what the fuck happens in govt companies. Efforts are not counted, experience in the company is counted. Hard work hardly matters ( courtsey neelesh ).
This is one of the reason why people(enthusiastic jerks) fly to other companies and work for them. And the day is not far when the govt firms will be filled with mofos and it will be lagging years in all the technologies mind u if the same indolence continues.
Should I give an try to change the system ? or get adjusted to the situation and become a sarkari sabji. If I have to change the system then I have to surely work here for 15 years. I feel if I am here for such long time then I only be changed! But what to do ?
